Ahoy there! I’m Debbie — dyslexia specialist, experienced educator, and proud captain of The Dyslexia Den Scotland.
With over 25 years of experience supporting children who learn differently, I’ve dedicated my career to helping neurodivergent learners navigate choppy waters with confidence. I created The Den as a safe harbour — a place where children can drop anchor, feel understood, and build the skills they need to set sail successfully.
Every part of The Den has been charted with care: from calm, one-to-one sessions to practical resources that support families beyond the classroom. I work closely with each child and parent, offering personalised guidance, gentle encouragement, and strategies that truly work.
